Bassoon harness design

The Kolbl bassoon harness is made from durable nylon straps and fitted with a strong metal hook. This ensures that it will last a long time and will keep your bassoon secure whilst you are playing. It is adjustable and there are three sizes on offer (see above): small, medium and large. If you are unsure of which size to pick, purchase a medium size and if this does not fit we will happily swap it for another size for you.

Spreads weight & reduces tension

This bassoon harness will spread the weight of your bassoon evenly over your neck and shoulders. This means that there is much less weight and tension on your neck than there would be if a neck strap was used. Spreading the weight more evenly helps to avoid strain, injury and the dreaded bassoonists neck (when a neck strap is used the weight of the bassoon can pull your neck forward and down).

Comfortable for Women & Men

This bassoon strap is suitable for both females and males and comes in three sizes. The straps lie over sensible areas of the body in order to ensure that comfort is not impeded when worn.
